Lord, I want to trust You more, but if I am honest my trust wavers the moment life feels out of control. Your word gives me simple words: when I am afraid, I will trust in You. Let that become more than a verse — a reflex I reach for when fear rises. I am not pretending I have arrived; my faith is small and often shaky. But I bring even that to You, asking You to grow it. Help me let go of the need to control outcomes and rest in Your character instead. Where past disappointments have made me guarded, heal that. Grow my trust, Lord, one step at a time, and meet me in the doubting. Amen.
