Lord, I need wisdom for a decision and a season that feel beyond me. Your word says that if I lack wisdom I can simply ask You, and You give it generously without scolding me for asking; so I am asking. I do not just want to be clever or to get the answer I already prefer — I want to see clearly and choose well. Help me weigh things rightly, listen to wise counsel, and discern Your leading from my own wants and fears. Quiet me enough to think and to hear You. Where I must act before everything is clear, give me peace and courage. Grant me wisdom, Lord, the kind that comes from above — pure, peaceable, and good — and help me walk in it. Amen.
