A prayer for you

Prayer for Strength

When you've run out, and the road ahead asks more than you have to give.

Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10 (WEBBE)

Lord, I have run out of strength, and the road ahead still asks more of me than I have to give. Your word tells me not to fear, because You are with me — You will strengthen me, help me, and hold me up with Your right hand. So I stop pretending I can do this on my own and lean on the strength You promise. Carry me through what I cannot manage in my own power. Where I am exhausted, renew me; where I am afraid, steady me; where I want to quit, hold me up. Let me draw on Your strength rather than grit my way through on fumes. Be the strength I do not have, Lord, for whatever today and tomorrow require. Amen.
