Lord, I am starting high school, and honestly it feels huge and a little scary. Your word tells me to be strong and courageous and not afraid, because You go with me and will never leave me; let me walk in knowing that. Help me find good friends and steer clear of the wrong crowd. Give me confidence when I feel small and lost in a big new place, and the courage to be myself rather than just fit in. Help me handle the work, the pressure, and the social stuff with a steady heart. Guard me from being bullied and from becoming a bully. Walk these halls with me, Lord, and help me grow up well in this new chapter. Amen.
