Lord, I am starting college, and I am excited and intimidated in equal measure. Your word says You hold plans for me — for a future and a hope; I lean on that as I step into something completely new. Help me through the adjustment: the independence, the workload, the new people, the homesickness no one talks about. Give me good friends, wise mentors, and the discipline to actually study. Guard me in a season full of new freedoms and pressures, and keep my faith from quietly slipping away. Help me grow into who You made me to be here. Lead me through these years, Lord, and let me come out of them more myself and closer to You. Amen.
