Lord, You give gifts by Your Spirit to each of Your people for the good of all, and I want to use whatever You have given me well. Show me how You have wired and gifted me — not so I can compare myself to others or chase the showy gifts, but so I can serve. Free me from both false modesty and pride. Where I have buried a gift out of fear or neglect, stir it up again. Give me opportunities to use it, and humility to use it in love rather than for attention. Help me build others up with what You have entrusted to me. Use my gifts for Your purposes, Lord, and for the good of those around me. Amen.
