Lord, I have travelling ahead, and I am asking simply for safety on the way. Your word says that with You I can walk my road securely and my foot will not stumble; I hold to that as I set out. Watch over every mile — the driving, the connections, the unfamiliar places. Keep me alert and unhurried, give me clear judgement on the road, and guard me from the dangers and the carelessness of others. Settle the low hum of travel anxiety so I can journey with a calm heart. I cannot foresee everything the route holds, and I will not pretend my own safety rests in my hands; I am trusting it to You. Bring me there and home again, Lord, and keep me steady the whole way. Amen.
