Lord, a relationship I care about is broken, and I long to see it restored. Your word tells me to do everything I can, as far as it depends on me, to live at peace; so I bring You my part — my pride, my words, my willingness to forgive and to change. Soften my heart where it has hardened, and give me humility to own what is mine without keeping score of what is theirs. I cannot force the other person to meet me, and the outcome is not mine to control; some things only You can mend, some take time, and some may not heal the way I hope. Whatever comes, keep me from bitterness and open to peace. Do what only You can do here, Lord, and give me grace for the rest. Amen.
