Lord, my relationship has hit a rough patch, and the same arguments keep circling back without resolving. Your word tells us to bear with one another and to forgive the way You forgave us; we both need that grace right now. Turn my attention to my own contribution before I tally up theirs. Drain the resentment that has quietly pooled, and help us find a way to talk that breaks the loop instead of repeating it. Where someone has been hurt, begin the healing; where we have simply misread each other, bring light. Changing them is not in my power, and the result rests with more than me alone; what I can offer is a teachable heart and steady prayer. Move in us both, Lord, and steer us toward what is honest and good. Amen.
