Lord, my phone has a grip on me that I do not like — the endless scrolling, the constant checking, the hours that vanish into a screen. Your word asks You to turn my eyes from worthless things and give me life in Your ways; turn my eyes and my attention back to what matters. Help me see honestly how much this is costing me — my time, my focus, my presence with the people in front of me. Give me the discipline to set real limits and the honesty to keep them. Replace the mindless reaching for my phone with better things — prayer, rest, real connection, time outdoors. Free me from needing the next notification. Turn my eyes, Lord, toward what is real, and help me live more present and free. Amen.
