Lord, more than just sleep, I am asking for peaceful sleep — rest that actually restores me, body and soul. Your word says my heart can be taught by You even in the night seasons; so let this night's rest be good and unbroken. Calm whatever churns beneath the surface as I lie down. Free me from the dreams that disturb and the half-sleep that leaves me more tired than before. Wrap this night in Your peace, and let me wake refreshed rather than weary. Thank You that rest is part of how You care for me. Give me peaceful, healing sleep tonight, Lord, and watch over my dreams. Amen.
