Lord, I want to be a more patient and kind person, and most days I fall short of both. Your word tells me to clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, as someone You have chosen and love. Help me actually put these on, especially when I am tired, rushed, or provoked. Give me patience with the people who test it most, and kindness that is not just politeness but genuine care. Slow me down enough to notice others. When I snap or grow cold, prompt me to make it right rather than excuse it. Grow real patience and kindness in me, Lord, until they become who I am and not just how I behave on good days. Amen.
