Lord, I keep running into closed doors, and I am asking You to open the ones that are truly mine. Your word speaks of a door You have set open that no one can shut; I hold that hope up, even while I am unsure which door is mine. Open what is good and right for me, and give me the discernment to recognise it rather than rushing through every gap out of fear. Just as importantly, close the doors that look appealing but would lead me somewhere harmful, and give me peace about the ones that stay shut. Keep me faithful and diligent in the small things while I wait for the bigger ones. I trust You to know the difference between a door I want and a door I need. Lead me, Lord, to the openings that are genuinely Yours. Amen.
