Lord, my wife and I have prayed for a financial turn so long that hope feels worn thin. Your word says You know the plans You hold for us — plans for a future and not for harm; we are clinging to that on the nights the figures look hopeless. I am not asking to be made rich, only for an opening where every way has been blocked, and for my wife to be free of the money-worry that keeps her staring at the ceiling. Make us wise stewards of what little we have, and keep the strain from driving a wedge between us. Where she shoulders the budgeting and the fear, ease it. Anchor our hope in You, not in some rescue cheque. Open a way for us, Lord, and stay near my wife in the wait. Amen.
