Lord, I am praying over my unborn baby — a person I have not met, whom You already know completely. Your word says my own frame was not hidden from You as I was woven together in secret, and the same is true of this little one growing unseen. So I pray over who they are becoming, even now. Knit their body and their spirit with care. Whoever they turn out to be, let them grow up knowing they are wanted, loved, and Yours. Give them, in time, a tender heart, a brave spirit, and a sense of their own worth that the world cannot talk them out of. I cannot see the days ahead of them, and I will not pretend to know what their life will hold; I only ask that You would be in all of it, from this hidden beginning onward. I love my baby already, Lord, before a single breath. Watch over the one I cannot yet hold. Amen.
