Lord, my teenager is changing fast — testing limits, pulling toward independence, becoming someone I am still getting to know. Your word asks how a young person keeps their way pure, and answers: by Your word. So plant Your truth deep in my teen, deeper than the noise of these years. Guard them through the pressures I remember and the new ones I do not understand — the screens, the comparisons, the choices that feel enormous to them. Give them good friends and the courage to be themselves. Help me hold the hard balance of holding on and letting go, of giving freedom and keeping boundaries, of staying close while they push away. Keep our connection alive through the eye-rolls and the silences. And carry them safely across this bridge between childhood and adulthood. Steady my teenager, Lord, and steady me as I parent them through it. Amen.
