Lord, my son lives with ongoing pain, and there is a particular grief in watching your own child hurt and not being able to take it away. Your word says You are near to the brokenhearted and rescue the crushed in spirit; draw near to my boy. I ask for his healing and his relief, boldly and honestly, while trusting You with what I cannot control. Ease the pain that robs him of an ordinary life, and keep it from stealing his hope or his sense of who he is. Lead us to doctors and help that make a real difference. Where I cannot fix it, let me be a steady, believing presence. Be near my son, Lord, in his pain, and hold him. Amen.
