A prayer for you

Prayer for My Son's Courage

Facing something that frightens him.

Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them, for the LORD your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6 (WEBBE)

Lord, my son is facing something that frightens him, and I am praying courage into his heart. Your word says to be strong and courageous and unafraid, because You go with him and will never fail or forsake him; let my boy feel You beside him. Where fear is telling him he cannot do this, give him the bravery to try anyway. Help him face what scares him — the test, the team, the change, the bully — with a steady heart. Let him know that being brave does not mean not being scared, and that he is never facing it alone. Go with my son, Lord, into the thing he is dreading, and make him courageous. Amen.
