Lord, my mother has diabetes, and as she gets older I find myself worrying more about what it is doing to her. Your word says You bend Your ear to our voice; hear my prayers for my mum. Help her keep up with the meals, the medication, and the appointments, even when it all feels like too much. Hold her numbers steady and guard her from the trouble this brings with age. Show me how to help with her care without stripping her of her dignity, and give me patience when she struggles to keep up. Give her doctors real insight. Watch over my mother's health, Lord, and let her feel looked after rather than a burden to anyone. Amen.
A prayer for you
Prayer for My Mother With Diabetes
As she ages, you worry more about how it's affecting her.
“I love the LORD, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy. Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.”
