Lord, my husband is carrying something heavy in his mind, and I can see it stealing his calm even when he says he is fine. Your word promises that You keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is fixed on You; so I ask You to anchor his racing thoughts there. Where worry wakes him in the night or trails him through the day, meet him in it. I am not asking that all his pressures disappear, but that he would not be ruled by them — that underneath the stress there would be a settledness only You can give. Help me be a calm presence to him rather than another weight. Steady my husband's mind, Lord, and keep him in Your peace. Amen.
