Lord, my husband and I have been treading water financially for years, and most nights it sits unspoken between us. Your word speaks of giving back the years the locusts devoured; so much has been eaten by debt and worry, and I am asking You to turn the season. Not a jackpot — just a door to open, a margin to appear, a little less dread on a Sunday night. Hold my husband where the provider-weight presses hardest, and do not let the strain quietly pull us apart. Make us wise and united with the little we hold. My confidence is not in luck changing but in You. Turn the season for us, Lord, in Your way and Your hour. Amen.
