Lord, my husband is out of work, and I see what it costs him — not only the money, but something quieter in how he carries himself. Your word says to cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us, so I bring his and mine together. Lift the shame that tells him he is failing us; he is not, and I need him to believe it. Steady our home while the income is uncertain, and keep fear from turning us against each other. Lead him toward work that restores not just our budget but his sense of standing on his own feet. Give me the right words to encourage without nagging, and the patience to wait beside him. Carry my husband through this stretch, Lord, and carry us. Amen.
