Lord, my grandmother is sick, and her frailty reminds me how precious and fleeting our time with her is. Your word promises that even to grey hairs You carry us; carry her now in this illness. I pray for her healing and her comfort, asking boldly while trusting Your wisdom about her days. Ease her pain and her tiredness, and surround her with tenderness and good care. Thank You for the years of love she has poured out; let her feel it returned now. Give her doctors wisdom and her family patience. Whatever this illness brings, do not let her feel alone in it. Carry my grandmother, Lord, gently, all the way through. Amen.
A prayer for you
Prayer for My Grandmother Who Is Sick
Her frailty reminds you how precious and fleeting your time with her is.
“Even to old age I am he, and even to grey hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver.”
