Lord, somewhere out there may be the man I will one day marry, and tonight I lift him to You before I even know his name. Your word says You hold plans for a future and a hope; I trust that for him and for me. Wherever he is right now, watch over him — grow his faith, shape his character, carry him through whatever he is facing. Guard us both from the choices that would harm the people we are becoming. Prepare me, too, to love well and to be the partner he will need. And if my path is different from what I imagine, give me peace and a full life regardless. Keep my future husband in Your care, Lord, and our story in Your hands. Amen.
