Lord, my father is unwell, and it shakes me to see the strong man of my life laid low. Hezekiah prayed that You would restore him and let him live; I bring that same plea for my dad. I ask for his healing and I will not pretend otherwise, even as I leave the outcome in Your hands. Ease his pain and quiet the fear he is too proud to name. Give his doctors wisdom and his body strength to recover. Soften him to receive help, and help me honour him through this — present, patient, saying the things too often left unsaid. Restore my father, Lord, if it is Your will, and hold him whatever comes. Amen.
