Lord, my daughter lives with chronic pain, and as her parent I would trade places with her in a heartbeat. Your word promises that when she goes through deep waters You are with her, and the flames will not consume her; stay with her in this long ordeal. I ask for relief and healing for her, hopeful and honest, and I leave the result with You. Quiet the pain that grinds her down, and shield her heart from bitterness and hopelessness. Lead her to clinicians who listen and to treatment that truly helps. Help me believe her without question, support her without smothering, and never brush off what she carries. Go with my daughter through the waters, Lord, and hold her steady. Amen.
