Lord, my daughter is searching for work, and the waiting is hard on her and on me as I watch. Your word says You will guide her continually and satisfy her even in dry places, making her like a watered garden; let this lean season become exactly that kind of ground. Lift the discouragement of each rejection before it convinces her she is not enough. Lead her toward work that uses her gifts and lets her stand on her own feet. Help me encourage without smothering, and trust You with the parts of her life I can no longer arrange. Let her know she is loved and held whether or not the next door opens soon. Guide my daughter continually, Lord, and keep her hope green. Amen.
