Lord, my daughter is caught up in a court case, and I am asking You to watch over her through it. Your word says to follow what is wholly just; let this be decided by what is right, not by who has more power or money or cunning. Calm her fear and steady her in the long, anxious wait, and give her nerve when she has to take the stand. Bring what is true into the open and let it be weighed fairly. Grant her advocate skill, and grant integrity to all who sit in judgement. Keep resentment from poisoning her and the ordeal from crushing her spirit. How the ruling falls is not mine to determine; I lay it before You instead of carrying the dread alone. Defend what is right, Lord, and bring my daughter through with her dignity and faith whole. Amen.
