Lord, my daughter is standing at the edge of something that scares her, and I am asking You to fill her with courage. Your word says to be strong and let your heart take courage, all who hope in the Lord; anchor my girl's hope in You so courage can grow from it. Where fear makes her shrink back, strengthen her to step forward. Help her face the hard or frightening thing — the new school, the stage, the decision, the unkindness — without losing herself. Remind her that brave and afraid can live in the same heart, and that You are with her in it. Take courage, my daughter — and Lord, give her the strength to. Amen.
