Lord, my daughter has an operation ahead, and I would lie down on that table in her place if You let me. Your word says You assign angels to guard us — set them around my girl in there. Ease her nerves before they take her through, and let love be the last thing she feels. Give the surgical team mercy and skill as they work. Watch her closely while she is unaware on the table, and bring her safely back to waking. Still my own thudding heart as I wait for word. The result is not mine to dictate; I can entrust my daughter to Your care. Hold her through every minute of this, Lord. Amen.
