Lord, I spend much of my life alongside my coworkers, and I want to pray for them rather than only complain about them. Your word tells me, as far as it depends on me, to live at peace with everyone; so help me be a person of peace in that workplace, not a source of friction. Be near the ones quietly carrying heavy things home that no one at work can see. Bring comfort where there is stress, fairness where there is tension, and genuine care between people who might otherwise just use each other. Where someone is difficult, give me patience instead of contempt, and help me see them as a person You love. Make me the kind of colleague who leaves the place a little better. Bless my coworkers, Lord — the ones I like and the ones I find hard. Amen.
