Lord, we thank You for our church community, this imperfect, beloved family You have placed us in. Your word says we are the body of Christ, each of us a member with a part to play; help us live like that — needing each other, not competing or comparing. Knit us together across our differences of age, background, and opinion. Where there is gossip, clique, or division, bring honesty and grace. Teach us to bear one another's burdens, celebrate one another's joys, and forgive one another's faults. Make us a place where the lonely find belonging and the hurting find help. Bind our community together in love, Lord, and let us be the body You called us to be. Amen.
