Jesus, You called the children to come to You and would not let anyone turn them away — so I am bringing mine to You now, with a diagnosis I can barely say out loud. This news is too big for such a small life, and too heavy for my heart. Gather my child close to You. Help me explain only what they can hold, and shield them from the fear I am carrying for both of us. Give me wisdom for the choices ahead and a calm face for their sake. I trust my child to the One who loves them even more than I do. Hold them, Lord. Amen.
