A prayer for you

Prayer for My Brother Who Is Sick

The bond you grew up in makes his suffering hard to watch.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 34:19 (WEBBE)

Lord, my brother is sick, and the bond we have grown up in makes his suffering hard to watch from the outside. Your word is honest that the righteous face many afflictions, and promises that You deliver through them; carry my brother through this one. I ask plainly for his healing while trusting You with what I cannot control. Ease his symptoms and steady his spirit. Give his doctors wisdom and his body strength to recover. Show me how to support him — to show up, to lighten the load, to be the brother he needs right now. Deliver my brother, Lord, and keep us close through it. Amen.
