Lord, I long for my family to be reconciled — for the broken places between us to be mended, for us to find our way back to one another. Your word says that reconciliation is Your work, that You reconcile and then hand us a part to play in it. So do Your reconciling work among us, and show me my part without making me responsible for everyone else's. I am not going to script how this resolves, or demand it happen on my schedule; I am asking You to move in hearts I cannot touch, my own included. Give us humility to own our wrongs, courage to forgive, and an honesty that does not paper over what really happened. Where reconciliation is possible, make a way for it. Where it is not yet — or not safe — give us peace in the waiting and wisdom about what love actually requires. Heal what has been broken, Lord, as only You can, and hold us all, together or apart, until then. Amen.
