Lord, my family is fractured, and there is a silence where a relationship used to be — calls that do not happen, a chair that stays empty, someone I love and cannot reach. Your word speaks of how good and pleasant it is when family dwells together in unity, and I grieve how far that is from where we are. I am not asking You to force a reunion, or to make me pretend the hurt away; I am asking You to soften hardened hearts on every side, including mine, and to do what only You can do. Where the distance is protecting someone from real harm, give wisdom and safe boundaries rather than false peace. Where it is only pride and pain, gently melt them. Help me keep my side of the door open without clinging to a particular outcome. Carry the sorrow I cannot fix, and keep my heart from turning bitter while I wait. Have mercy on my family, Lord. Amen.
