Lord, I am at a crossroads and unsure which way to go, and the not-knowing is unsettling. Your word promises a voice behind me saying, 'This is the way; walk in it'; I long to hear that clarity. Guide my steps, even if You show me only the next one rather than the whole path. Close the doors that are not right, however appealing, and open the ones that are. Help me discern Your leading through Your word, wise counsel, circumstances, and peace. Keep me from rushing ahead in panic or freezing in fear. I would rather walk slowly with You than quickly on my own. Lead me, Lord, and give me the trust to follow even when the road bends out of sight. Amen.
