So I am drawing near now, asking You to close the distance I often feel. Forgive the ways I keep You at arm's length — busyness, distraction, the fear of being fully known. Quiet me enough to actually be with You, not just say words at You. Make prayer feel less like a duty and more like coming home. Meet me in the secret place, Lord, and let me know Your nearness, not just believe in it. Draw near to me as I draw near to You. Amen.
