Prayer for Church Staff

Lord, we pray for the staff who serve our church day in and day out. Like the builders in Nehemiah's day who worked with all their heart, our staff give themselves to the work of ministry, often beyond their hours and their pay. Sustain them in body and spirit, and guard them from burnout. Protect their own faith from going dry while they serve everyone else's. Give them unity as a team, grace with one another, and joy in their work. Provide for their families and honour their sacrifice. Where ministry has become merely a job, rekindle the calling. Bless our church staff, Lord, and multiply the good they do. Amen.
