Lord, the children I love are growing up in a world I cannot childproof. Your word says You give Your angels charge to guard us in all our ways — so station that guard around them, in all the places I will never be. Protect their innocence from being stolen too soon, and their minds from what slips through a screen. Keep them from anyone who would use their trust against them, and from voices that would teach them to despise themselves. Give the adults who care for them — teachers, coaches, family — integrity and watchful eyes. As they grow and I control less and less of their world, grow my trust in Your watching to match. Make them wise enough to recognise danger and brave enough to tell someone they trust. And over every child I love, the small and the nearly grown, keep Your angels close. Guard them, Lord, in all their ways. Amen.
