Lord, I go quiet at work when I should speak — in the meeting, with the difficult client, when something is not right. Your word says the righteous are as bold as a lion; I do not feel like a lion, so I am asking You for courage that is not my own. Help me speak up with both honesty and grace — to say the hard thing without aggression and the true thing without apology. Steady the fear of looking foolish or being disliked. Where I need to advocate for myself, my work, or someone overlooked, give me nerve. And keep my boldness kind, never trampling others to be heard. Make me brave at work, Lord, in a way that still looks like love. Amen.
