Lord, we are a blended family — two histories, two sets of loyalties, children who did not choose this, all learning to live as one. Your word says You set the lonely in families, and I trust You are doing that here, slowly, even on the days it feels more like collision than belonging. Give us patience for the long adjustment. Where there is jealousy, grief, or divided loyalty, bring understanding rather than pressure to feel what is not there yet. Help the children keep loving the parents who are not under this roof, without guilt. Let new bonds grow at their own pace, neither forced nor rushed. Heal the wounds each of us carried into this new family. And bind us together not by blood but by a love we keep choosing. Make us a family, Lord — not a perfect one, but a real and gentle one. Amen.
