Lord, I am praying for a godly husband, and I am learning to hold that hope with open hands. Your word tells me to trust You with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, and that You will make my path straight; so I trust You with this longing rather than trying to engineer it. If marriage is part of my path, prepare a man of real faith and character, and prepare me to be a good partner to him. Guard me from settling out of loneliness or forcing what is not ready. Help me build a full and meaningful life now, single, rather than putting living on hold. Above all, keep my heart anchored in You, whatever my relationship status. Lead me, Lord, and I will trust Your timing. Amen.
