Lord, I am longing for a breakthrough — a real change in a situation that has felt stuck for a long time. Your word says You make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert; this season has felt like a wilderness, and I am asking You to make a way through it. But I want to ask rightly: not for sudden riches, not for a faith that treats You as a vending machine, but for movement where there has been none, and the strength to keep going if the change is slow. Open what is meant to open. Give me wisdom and diligence to do my part, and a contentment that does not depend on the breakthrough arriving on my schedule. Make a way, Lord, and keep my hope in You rather than in the breakthrough itself. Amen.
