Lord, my child is being bullied, and it is breaking my heart and lighting a fire of anger in me at the same time. Your word says You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble — so be that refuge for my child right now. Wrap around the tender, hurting places where cruel words and actions have landed. Remind my child, louder than the bullies, that they are precious and worthy and not alone. I will not pray for revenge, however much part of me wants to; I ask instead for protection, and that the bullying find no more room to grow. Give me wisdom to act well — to involve the right people, to advocate firmly, to know when to step in and when to equip my child to stand. I cannot promise my child this will stop tomorrow, and I will not lie to them; but I can promise they are loved and not facing it alone. Be my child's high tower, Lord. Shield them, and hold them. Amen.
